    Phone
    Opening time 22-6 h Mon-Sun
Cover fee Men: 150 Rbl. Women: 300 Rbl.
Notes The new incarnation of the oldest gay club in Moscow, reopened at a new location in March 2003. The place has grown bigger and cruisier. As of 2003 this is the largest gay venue of Moscow, hence, it is densely populated, but the quality of the crowd greatly varies.

THREE MONKEYS (TRI OBEZIANY) NEW AGE
Address bldg. 1, 11 Nastavnicheskiy pereulok (Metro Chakalovskaya). How to get there.
    Phone not published.
    Opening time 22.00-7.00 Mon-Sun.
Cover fee 22.00-23.00 free for guys.
    Internet http://www.gaycentral.ru/ (Russian only)
Notes A new nightclub has come to replace the old Three Monkeys on Sadovnicheskaya embankment and the Central Station. It opened on 24 December 2004 and we have not been there so far, so we did not have a chance to review it. It has three floors, a huge dancefloor with mezzanine and tables, drag show, go-go boys, a separate "cinema room" (where the pirated copy of the Queer As Folk is shown in Russian), a computer with Internet access and several bars.

    SUNDAY TEA DANCE AT PROPAGANDA
Address 7 Bolshoy Zlatoustinsky per. (Metro Kitai-Gorod, follow the Maroseika ulitsa and take the first lane on your left).
    Phone 924 5732, 923 3494.
Opening time Gay nights begin at 21.00 on Sundays, but the club is open 12.00-7.00, Mon-Sun.
    Cover fee None on Sundays.
Notes Propaganda is a trendy place that seems to be transplanted into Moscow straight from the Manhattanian Soho: bare brick and metal constructions instead of gaudy wall decorations, sturdy wooden tables and chairs, semi-private cubicles for larger parties on the sides and side galleries raised high above the dance floor. Very popular with the young and trendy. Excellent value-for-money ratio for food and cocktails - try a very refreshing Mojito with fresh mint leaves for bare 130R! Sundays are more gay than other nights, but the club is predominantly mixed.
